Now dominating the mp3 market with the iPod, the smartphone market with the iPhone and the tablet computer with the iPad, Apple is turning its attention to integrating urban transport into its portfolio of products. The unique design of the current Smart Fortwo is regenerated in collaboration with Daimler-Benz AG to become the new iCar, powered with an electric motor and featuring full iOS5 integration.
I made a discovery today that really perked-up my day at work. I use a Mac at home but at work I have to make do with Windows XP on a tiny screen. Until today. The screen size obviously hasn’t increased miraculously but I’ve loaded-up a free program, Leopard XP.
Without the need for any in-depth programming knowledge this program changes the appearance of just about everything on my screen. The computer is still slow - nothing but a wholesale upgrade will sort that - but it’s now a much nicer place to work and reminds me of the computer at home.
